Mae Sot July 1

I am in Mae Sot with a small team from Brunswick Films who intend making a short film for a new and exciting fundraising project by Global Angels, good friends to Thai Childrens Trust, which will benefit children here.

Yesterday was travel with an eleven hour flight from London immediately followed by a six-hour trip from Bangkok to the border.

Today was a first reconnaissance day with visits to Hsa Thoo Lei, Star Flower Centre, and SAW Children's Refuge.  It is the rainy season, and our visit to SAW was marked by a huge thunderstorm which was truly impressive.

A couple of first day photos:

A new friend at SAW.

More tomorrow.
